Headache and body ache

Water, shade, willow for an adult, mint on the brow. July headaches are often heat and salt.

Worst-of-life headache, droop, confusion: not herbs.

Do this

  1. 1.Drink. Eat a pinch of salt if you have been sweating.
  2. 2.Peppermint tea and a mint cloth on the forehead.
  3. 3.Willow decoction or the ibuprofen in the kit — adult, and not both stacked with aspirin.
  4. 4.Dark room. If it is the worst headache of their life, or one-sided weakness, that is stroke watch — see Illness.

Recipes

Willow bark decoction

Adult ache and low fever tea from creek willow. Treat it like aspirin that tastes of wet wood.

Peppermint or spicebush tea

Queasy, gassy, or a tension head. Mint from the bucket, or spicebush twigs from the hollow.
